About the event
Strength Through Menopause is a 60-minute educational and movement-based workshop designed to help women better understand the physical changes that come with menopause and how to navigate them with confidence.
This session focuses on building strength, protecting bone health, and improving mobility through practical, research-backed strategies. You’ll learn why menopause impacts bone density and muscle mass, what current research (including studies like the LIFTMOR trial) says about strength training, and how to train effectively to reduce bone loss and stay strong long-term.
The workshop also includes a guided movement session where you’ll practice foundational strength exercises, improve hip and shoulder mobility, and learn simple plyometric movements that support bone density and longevity.
Whether you’re new to strength training or looking to adapt your routine, this workshop offers a supportive, hands-on introduction to feeling strong and capable again.
